03 8th, 2007

Seems like everyone and their dog owns a dating site now. Everybody needs love. Singlemomsanddads.com is a dating website just for Single Moms and Dads looking for someone else single with with child. It looks like any other dating site on the web. Is there a standard dating website software that people are using or do they all just design them the same on purpose?

Dylan Hears a Who?

03 8th, 2007

Listen to Bob Dylan sing Dr. Suess songs. That’s something I would never have dreamed of hearing myself. I don’t know who made these songs. But it’s so funny. And you can download all of the songs for free. So if Bob Dylan singing (or whatever you would call what he does) Dr. Suess is your thing then download them and load them on your iPod.

Ink Is It

03 2nd, 2007

This website is about two guys, Nathan and Max, who love ink so much that they created a podcast about it at InkIsIt.com. Actually it’s set up by Kodak, no one likes ink that much. It’s still funny, though. And they have a flash game where you shoot ink at printers. I love flash games. I also learned some ink facts. I learned that you would need to buy over $22,000 worth of ink to paint an average house. That’s pretty interesting but it doesn’t say what kind of printer you would need.

When officers went to arrest a principal for selling crystal methamphetamine they found him naked at his desk watching gay porn. First, why would you watch porn at work. And second, if you’re watching gay porn, why would you get naked at work. You’re just asking to be caught. And this guy is a principal at a school. So sad.

Be The Bot

02 15th, 2007

Sometimes, when I’m searching the internet for a specific topic I will get frustrated because links come up in the search engine but when I click it the page asks for me to register. I just found Be The Bot which is a website that can browse other website and pretend to be a Googlebot. Sites will let the googlebot in without a registration so you will be able to view the page. I wish I knew about this website months ago.

Men’s Jewelry

02 9th, 2007

I’m not ashamed to admit it. I like Mens Jewelry. I like rings, watches and bracelets. I especially like a lot of metal. Not so much gold which I think looks tacky. But just metal. I like some of these bracelets at Heavenly Treasure. Like this one.

This is perfect. In fact, I’m actually considering buying this thing. I also like this smaller one

Yahoo! Pipes

02 9th, 2007

Lifehacker shows you Make your own mashup with Yahoo! Pipes. You can filter your feeds before they go to your feedreader. It seems interesting but I haven’t tried it yet. Actually, I’m going to go try it now…

Egreetings.com has a large selection of funny ecards. And you can try it free for 30 days. But a yearly subscription is only $13.99. They have cards for any occasion like birthdays, father’s day, Christmas and other. I was browsing through their Valentine’s Day cards and some of them are really funny. I like the card with a sleazy little cupid doing his pickup lines.

I also watched the ABCs of Valentine’s Day Valentine’s Day eCard by "The Chins" but that one just creeped me out. I’ve always been creeped out when people paint their chin to have eyes and then talk. These chins are not only creepy but they’re obnoxious too.

I also like We Interrupt This Valentine… It’s pretty funny.

Air Guitar Nation

02 3rd, 2007

airguitarnation.gif

There is apparently an air guitar competition held every year in Finland. People get on stage and wiggle their fingers around and then I guess they’re judged on how well they pretended to play guitar. Director Alexandra Lipsitz has created a documentary about these air rock stars. The documentary films the 2003 competition and is 78 minutes long. I’m not sure if I can stand watching 78 minutes of guys pretending to play the guitar.
